ACSL Access Control or Car Parking ANPR products (micropak.pdf) enable integrators to implement complete solutions for automatic access control using number plate recognition. Full details of the time, number plate, lane entry/exit details, and options to store images to disk for retrieval at a later date are available(Visilog). Vehicles entering can be checked against a black or white list ensuring only approved vehicles can gain access. This new  ANPR Parking system allows for the automatic management of visitors or those with a subscription to public car-parks.

Access Control/Car Parking using number plate recognition significantly reduces queues in front of barriers and also the risk of theft and damage to vehicles. ANPR also ensures that the owners of vehicles still parked after the authorized period will receive a penalty.
