The Advanced Camera Solution products allow
for the automatic management of visitors or those with a subscription to public
car-parks. The solutions implemented mainly use number plate readings but can
also match vehicles profiles on entry and exit in order to detect possible
vehicle theft. This solution can easily be integrated into car-park equipment
(ticket machine, barriers) and into access control management software. The Micropak is the latest
ANPR camera designed to give an out of the box solution for access control
and any other ANPR requirements. The camera has a built in zoom, which
enables it to work from 1 to 20 meters. Built in pulsed IR light
ensure it works efficiently at night as well as day. A contact closure is
supplied to automate barrier opening. You just need a "White list push
software and the system is complete. The Micropak can be networked
either as a single control station or built up into a major access control
for large parking sites
By providing an entirely automated subscription system, these solutions
represent a considerable reduction in running costs and an improvement in
security levels of public car-parks. They also provide a counting system
(overall or by level) of remaining spaces which is more reliable than any other
system
